The Deformed Howler
A highly aggressive Howler variant bound to puzzle triggers. Highlighted in red during pursuit, it cannot be outrun without a Bear Trap.
Algorithmic behavior
Remains dormant until a user adds a critical progression item to their inventory; then automatically shifts its coordinates to the user's localized radius. Conventional evasion is impossible - its velocity outpaces every locomotion upgrade short of full-level parkour advantage.
Evasion strategy
Survival requires deploying a Bear Trap at the topological spawn point. Trigger aggro deliberately and kite the entity's pathing directly into the trap's collision mesh, initiating an execution cutscene.
